They say that network marketers never really "get" their industry until they stop thinking of themselves and start helping others. While focusing on our down line and other primary business owners is great, adding community involvement into the mix can also give you great exposure. The first couple years of my marriage and during the time both of my sons were born, we were living on a military paycheck. While there were some perks, being stationed in expensive Southern California left very little room in the budget for extras.
